14 - Shopify Plus Developer
Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce company whose revenue doubles year on year. They are looking for an experienced Shopify Plus Developer to help drive continued growth and innovation across their online store. The ideal candidate is a true full-stack Shopify developer - not front-end only - who writes clean code and prioritises page load speed. Designs are delivered ready-made, so the focus is on technical execution and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Further develop and maintain the Shopify Plus environment
- Implement new features and functionalities across the store
- Optimise user experience and page load performance
- Collaborate with an international development team
- Contribute to technical innovations within the platform
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of frontend development experience
- Proven experience with Shopify Plus projects
- Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, CSS (SCSS/Sass) and JavaScript (including jQuery)
- Experience building responsive, pixel-perfect designs
- Familiarity with Git, Shopify Admin, and the Theme Editor
- Eye for detail and design, with knowledge of performance optimisation and SEO
- Strong communication skills
- Nice to have: experience with React, Vue or Angular; knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen; experience with other e-commerce platforms; familiarity with A/B testing and CRO; understanding of UX/UI principles
