Job Title: Aladdin Performance Business Operations & Reporting (PBOR) Consultant Location: Remote within the U.S. (Must be available to travel to the Boston, MA area client site approximately twice per month) Duration: 6 Months Required Experience
- 2 4 years of experience in performance valuation, performance reporting, and fund/NAV oversight.
- Experience working with BlackRock Aladdin platform, specifically PBOR (Performance Business Operations & Reporting).
- Strong understanding of investment performance measurement methodologies and reporting processes.
- Ability to analyze business processes, document workflows, and perform gap assessments.
Responsibilities
Business Process Review & Documentation
- Participate in and support Aladdin business process review (BPR) workshops.
- Track workshop progress, outcomes, action items, and open issues across business process areas.
- Document non-standard, upstream, and downstream workflows not covered by standard Aladdin BPRs.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements, workflows, and design decisions.
Target State Design Support
- Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to validate target-state workflows, dependencies, and design considerations.
- Document business and design decisions and support review and approval processes.
- Ensure alignment between approved business requirements and future-state operating models.
Performance Measurement Analysis
- Document the inventory of current-state performance measurement functionality.
- Analyze and document sources of performance measurement data across the investment ecosystem.
- Identify and document consumers of performance data, including:
- Consuming systems
- Source systems
- Data flows and exchanges
- Integration methods
- Document performance calculation methodologies currently in use (e.g., Modified Dietz, IRR, and other performance measurement techniques).
Gap Assessment & Solution Analysis
- Perform current-state to target-state gap analysis based on future-state design documentation.
- Compare Aladdin PBOR capabilities with existing performance measurement processes and functionality.
- Identify functional gaps and assess associated business impacts.
- Assist stakeholders in evaluating solution options and potential workarounds to address identified gaps.

Qualifications
- Experience with investment operations, performance measurement, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and NAV oversight processes.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
