We wish to appoint a Construction Scheduler/Planner for our leading client based in West Dublin. Reporting to the Construction Planning Manager, they must have strong Client side, Construction and Industrial experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective collaborative relationships with clients, project teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Establish project objectives in alignment with client requirements and ensure successful delivery against agreed goals, milestones, and timelines. Manage and execute projects in accordance with established Quality Management Systems (QMS) and project governance procedures. Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules and planning systems throughout the project lifecycle. Identify, monitor, and report on key project milestones, ensuring timely communication of progress and potential risks. Lead and facilitate Interactive Planning Workshops to support project alignment, stakeholder engagement, and schedule development. Develop, analyse, and maintain Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules to identify project risks, constraints, and opportunities for schedule optimisation. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in scheduling and planning software, including Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. Collaborate closely with Project Management teams, providing regular schedule performance reports, forecasts, and progress updates. Contribute to Constructability Reviews by providing planning expertise and schedule-related insights to improve project execution strategies. Establish project resource requirements and integrate resource planning into project schedules. Develop and implement planning tools, methodologies, and reporting systems to support the successful achievement of project objectives. Produce performance reports and schedule analyses to identify variances, assess impacts, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project delivery targets.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Planning and Scheduling within engineering or construction environments. Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities. Proactive self-starter with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. #LI-MD1
