DevOps AWS
We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of infrastructure across multiple parallel client projects. This is not a task-execution role. This is an ownership and direction-setting role. Location: Remote (with international travel when required) Employment Type: Part-Time (80 h/month) English: Upper-Intermediate+ Travel: Required when needed You will: Define DevOps strategy per project Set up infrastructure from scratch when needed Take over long-running projects and scale new scopes Communicate directly with clients (including CTO-level stakeholders) Own documentation, processes, and access management Independently manage time across multiple environments Experience being the sole DevOps engineer on a project is mandatory. What You’ll Own End-to-end infrastructure setup and operations Kubernetes cluster operations and reliability CI/CD architecture and GitLab pipelines GitOps processes and safe release workflows Infrastructure security and compliance readiness Access management and secrets governance Process documentation and operational playbooks Cross-project prioritization and stakeholder communication Must-Have Requirements 5+ years DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering experience Experience as the only DevOps on a project (must) Strong Kubernetes expertise (deployments, troubleshooting, networking, reliability) Advanced GitLab CI/CD knowledge (pipelines, runners, RBAC, artifacts) Helm + Kubernetes manifests GitOps experience (preferably FluxCD) Strong AWS experience (Azure/GCP acceptable) Linux expertise Ansible proficiency IaC and automation mindset Infrastructure security (IAM, secrets, least privilege) Compliance exposure (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, audit prep) Strong ownership and client communication skills Ability to manage multiple client projects independently
