Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in the patient care process by ensuring that laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored. You'll work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, and you'll be responsible for championing safety, compliance, and quality control. This is a full-time opportunity with a 3rd shift schedule (11 pm – 7:30 am) and occasional weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail

• Process and prepare laboratory specimens for testing and analysis
• Recognize and implement effective solutions to correct errors or discrepancies
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control in all aspects of work
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth operation of laboratory processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
• COVID vaccination required

Preferred Qualifications

* 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production

• Experience working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Base pay scale: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly, depending on experience
