About the Role

As a Customer Engineer (SQL Server & Data Platform Engineer) at careerzynith, you will design, optimize, and support modern database solutions. This role emphasizes high availability, performance tuning, and leading cloud migrations to Azure. You will work with the engine that powers the experience design and engineering capabilities at careerzynith, combining human-centered design, powerful data, and strong tech to accelerate CX transformation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and optimize SQL Server platforms, focusing on performance, high availability, and failover clustering.

• Lead migrations of on-premises databases to Azure and other cloud platforms.
• Architect disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always On availability groups, and Azure services.
• Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise-level systems.

Essential Qualifications:

* 4 to 8 years of experience with SQL Server (2012+), Azure SQL, and data warehousing.

• Expertise in high availability, clustering, and cloud-based database solutions.
• Experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and IaaS.
• Strong skills in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.

• Knowledge of cloud-based security and compliance.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
