Job Description: Job Title: IT Data Analyst I Department: Information Technology FLSA: Exempt General Function Answers key questions from stakeholders and possesses self-initiated curiosity for what drives business performance. Attends and is prepared to participate in team, department and company meetings. Performs other job related duties and special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics Data visualization skills Analytics skills including evaluation and data analysis Technical writing experience in queries and reports Ability to propose solutions before actively developing a feature or request Program Language Requirements SQL Data Visualization Tools (Power Bi, Tableau) Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field is preferred Physical Requirements Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction. Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking. Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Working Conditions The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day. Equipment Used to Perform Job Laptop and desktop computer, telephone, copier, Fax, printer, PC with Microsoft Office programs and other software relevant to specific position.
