1099 Independent Insurance Agent – Medicare Focus Location: Remote / Flexible Schedule Job Type: Independent Contractor (LOA-1099) About the Opportunity We are seeking driven, licensed Independent Insurance Agents to specialize in Medicare products, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and Prescription Drug Plans (PDP). This is a 1099 opportunity designed for self‑motivated professionals who want control over their schedule and uncapped earning potential. You’ll have the freedom to help seniors navigate critical healthcare decisions with confidence and clarity. What You’ll Do
- Educate Medicare‑eligible individuals on available Medicare plans and coverage options
- Conduct phone consultations
- Match clients with Medicare solutions that fit their healthcare and budget needs
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships
- Stay compliant with CMS and carrier guidelines
- Manage your own pipeline and follow‑up activities
What We’re Looking For
- Active health insurance license (Life & Health)
- AHIP certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills
- Self‑starter mindset with strong time management
- Comfortable working independently in a commission‑based role
- Prior Medicare sales experience preferred, but not required
