Marketing Assistant
Lumsden McCormick CPA is looking for a creative and organized Marketing Assistant to join their marketing team. This role supports the execution of marketing initiatives through graphic design, video content, and digital marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Creates and edits graphics, branded materials, presentations, advertisements, social media assets, photography, and other visual content consistent with firm brand standards
- Assists with video production and editing for website, recruiting, and promotional content
- Provides day-to-day support for marketing projects, initiatives, and department priorities
- Supports updates to proposal content, presentations, website content, collateral, bios, and other business development and marketing materials
- Assists with website updates, content maintenance, email campaign creation, and other digital marketing support activities
- Helps ensure consistency and accuracy across marketing materials and communications
- Maintains awareness of current marketing, graphic design, video, and social media trends and best practices
Skills
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
- Organized and detail-oriented with an eye for design, brand consistency, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Experience with video editing and video content creation preferred, including familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, or similar video editing software
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
