Job Summary We’re hiring a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across enterprise SaaS platforms and strategic engineering initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping architecture, guiding platform evolution, and driving the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable software across multiple products and teams. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture leaders to solve complex technical challenges, influence long-term technology strategy, and raise engineering standards across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities Define and drive architecture for enterprise SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and shared platform services Lead complex technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams, products, and business domains Establish technical direction for scalability, reliability, security, observability, and platform modernization efforts Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business objectives into long-term technical strategies Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical decision-making for high-impact initiatives Drive engineering standards and best practices related to system design, operational excellence, automation, and software quality Mentor senior engineers, staff engineers, and technical leads through technical guidance and architectural leadership Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering velocity across teams Required Qualifications 12+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, or enterprise software platforms Experience leading architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams or product areas Experience delivering large-scale technical initiatives involving distributed systems, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available production systems Experience driving technical standards, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices across an organization
Preferred Qualifications
