[Remote] Biocompatibility Project Manager I

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ursus, Inc. is a Fortune 500 multinational technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA. They are seeking a Biocompatibility Project Manager I to manage multiple projects related to biocompatibility testing in the product development process, engaging with cross-functional partners and ensuring effective communication throughout.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Partner with cross-functional team members and suppliers to drive the selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination, and testing throughout the product development process
• Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability, etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with the cross-functional team and leadership
• Demonstrated experience in program management and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review
• Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment, and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently
• Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment
• Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOP’s

Skills

• BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• 2+ years of project management in a corporate setting
• Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively
• Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside of the box
• Strong program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience
• Experience with biocomp and customer safety
• Science and engineering background and experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Experience working in the consumer electronics industry
• Nice to have a good understanding of program development checkpoints
