[Remote] Content Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Majestic Resorts is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Content Writer to join their team on a freelance basis. This role involves developing product positioning content and website copy that is SEO-optimized and aligned with the brand's upscale identity, contributing to both B2B and B2C channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive website copy across all brand and property touchpoints, including brand pages, property pages, wedding sections, destination pages, dining venues, room categories, spa offerings, and resort amenities
- Develop clear, compelling product positioning content that translates resort features into guest-facing value while maintaining brand standards
- Produce written materials across B2B and B2C channels, including trade and consumer newsletters, product sheets, sales collateral, and support materials for Marketing and Sales teams
- Support campaign initiatives with structured landing page copy, promotional messaging, and evergreen website content aligned with strategic priorities
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices including metadata optimization, internal linking, content structuring, and search intent alignment to improve organic visibility
- Review, refine, and optimize existing website and collateral content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with evolving brand standards
- Develop editorial content as needed, including press releases, blog articles, and announcement materials in support of brand, property, and wedding initiatives
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Digital teams to ensure product accuracy and cohesive messaging across all platforms
- Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and positioning across all written materials within the Majestic Resorts portfolio
- Track content performance metrics and recommend data-informed refinements to strengthen search presence and overall content effectiveness
- Manage projects from concept through final approval, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and adherence to deadlines
- Additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
Skills
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field
- 3+ years of professional content writing experience
- Proven experience writing SEO-optimized web content
- Experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, or luxury brand environments preferred
- Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Exceptional long-form writing and editorial skills
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research, content architecture, meta tags, and internal linking
- Ability to communicate product features in a clear and compelling manner
- Strong understanding of awareness and consideration-stage marketing content
- Experience structuring content to improve organic traffic and search performance
- Strong proofreading and editing capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
- Must provide portfolio demonstrating experience with web copy, product positioning, or hospitality-related content
- Experience writing for all-inclusive or resort brands
- Familiarity with hospitality product structures and room category frameworks
- Experience in collaborating with web development teams
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms
- Experience supporting digital growth or performance marketing initiatives
