Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud-hosted environments for application delivery
- Take ownership of build and release pipelines, ensuring consistency and reliability across deployments
- Oversee application promotions across environments, including recovery and rollback planning
- Introduce automation across infrastructure and deployment processes using code-driven approaches
- Work with development teams to optimize build, test, and release practices
- Investigate and resolve issues across environments, including pipeline failures and live production incidents
- Contribute to system monitoring, alerting, and ongoing service reliability improvements
- Apply and enforce security considerations across systems and delivery pipelines
Skills
- Background working with Linux-based systems across enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience within major cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Practical experience delivering and managing applications in distributed environments
- Strong scripting and automation capability (e.g., Python, shell scripting)
- Exposure to container technologies and orchestration platforms
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and system connectivity
- Experience applying controlled release strategies in production environments
- Strong problem-solving skills across systems, automation pipelines, and applications
