[Remote] Director, Product Design

The Director of Product Design will lead the design strategy for key growth experiences, focusing on user onboarding, product activation, and retention flows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of designers focused on growth and lifecycle experiences
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define strategy, priorities, and success metrics
• Translate business goals into clear user experience strategies and scalable design solutions
• Champion user-centered design while balancing speed, experimentation, and impact
• Establish and refine processes for design discovery, iteration, and delivery
• Use data, research, and experimentation to inform decisions and measure outcomes
• Advocate for design at the executive level and contribute to broader product leadership discussions

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in product design, with 3+ years in a design leadership role
• Proven experience designing B2B2C and/or SaaS products, ideally with complex workflows
• Strong background in growth, onboarding, activation, or lifecycle design
• Demonstrated ability to drive measurable outcomes (activation, retention, conversion, churn reduction)
• Experience leading and scaling high-performing design teams
• Strong product thinking and the ability to balance user needs with business goals
• Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with cross-functional partners
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing for agency platforms, CRM tools, or marketing technology
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and growth metrics
• Experience working in remote-first or distributed teams
