[Remote] Epic Security & Business Systems Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. h3 Technologies, LLC is seeking an Epic Security & Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Epic backend administration and user access management. The role involves working closely with clinical staff to translate workflows into security templates and requires experience in writing functional specifications and project change management.

Responsibilities

• Look specifically for the terms EMP (Epic User Database) and SER (Epic Provider Database)
• Access Lifecycle Management: Resumes should show experience with user provisioning, de-provisioning (offboarding), role-based access control (RBAC), and access auditing
• Clinical/Technical Liaison: Look for candidates who have worked directly with clinical staff (doctors, nurses) to translate hospital workflows into technical security templates
• Lvl 3 Analyst Capabilities: The candidate must have experience writing functional specifications, creating detailed test plans, and handling project change management
• Source heavily from major hospital systems, academic medical centers, or dedicated healthcare IT consulting firms
• Avoid candidates with purely corporate finance or retail backgrounds, as they lack the necessary clinical workflow understanding
