[Remote] IT Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Manager for one of their clients in the healthcare insurance industry. This role supports enterprise technology initiatives, focusing on coordinating application development efforts within cybersecurity and regulated systems, while ensuring project deliverables are completed on time.
Responsibilities
- Track project progress, maintain documentation, and ensure deliverables are completed on time while adhering to structured PMO processes
- Facilitate meetings, capture detailed notes, manage RAID logs, and communicate key updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
- Monitor project budgets, track burn rates, and proactively identify and escalate potential financial or scope-related risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and business partners to ensure alignment and forward momentum
- Work within tools such as PPM systems and Agile platforms like Azure DevOps to manage work items and reporting
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent healthcare/IT experience
- 2+ years relevant IT or healthcare project experience
- Experience managing IT/application development projects
- Strong understanding of technical conversations (non-hands-on)
- Proven budget management (burn rate, forecasts, risk identification)
- Strong documentation skills (charters, RAID logs, status reports, financial tracking)
- Familiarity with PPM tools and Azure DevOps
- Comfortable with structured governance and heavy documentation requirements
- Experience in Agile environments, backlog tracking preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or PMI-PBA preferred
- Regulated Industry Experience
- Microsoft Suite
