[Remote] IT Teaching Assistant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Campus is hiring dedicated, student-centered IT Teaching Assistants to support their live, online college courses. The role involves building meaningful relationships with students, providing academic support, and integrating into the instructional team alongside the Instructor.
Responsibilities
- Support and grade assignments for a group of 30-40 students in an 11-week online course
- Act as a mentor and coach to students as they learn new skills and develop as professionals
- Attend lectures within the 11-week online course
- Lead discussion sections to reinforce key concepts
- Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community
- Communicate with students regularly and respond to messages in a timely manner
- Help students stay motivated and build strong academic habits
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or training in technical subjects
- Comfort using online education tools and platforms
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree or working in a technical/business role
- Experience in IT support, cybersecurity, systems, or software
- Previous experience in online teaching or facilitation
- Willingness to TA for future quarters and/or multiple sections
