Responsibilities
- Assign proper medical codes to patient encounters
- Submit and track claims with insurance providers
- Correct denied claims and resubmit for reimbursement
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant billing records and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certification preferred, but entry-level encouraged to apply
