Remote Medical Coder – Entry Level (Training Provided)

Key Responsibilities

• * Accurately review and assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to patient diagnoses and procedures.
• * Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company coding policies.
• * Input data into healthcare records systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
• * Collaborate with coding supervisors and quality assurance teams to ensure ongoing accuracy.
• * Research and resolve coding discrepancies when flagged.
• * Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• * Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
• * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• * Good written and verbal communication skills.
• * Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them in practice.
• * Self-motivated with excellent time management capabilities.
• Experience
• * No previous experience required – this is an entry-level position.
• * Prior background in healthcare, life sciences, or administrative roles is a plus but not mandatory.

• Working Hours
• * Flexible shift options available (Full-time preferred).
• * Typical work hours 900 AM – 600 PM or as per project requirements.
• * Monday to Friday; occasional weekend work may be requested based on project deadlines.

• * High sense of confidentiality and integrity regarding patient data.
• * Eagerness to learn and grow within the healthcare industry.
