[Remote] NetApp ONTAP Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KPG99 INC is seeking an experienced NetApp ONTAP Engineer to support and administer enterprise storage environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with NetApp ONTAP and will be responsible for troubleshooting and managing storage protocols and replication technologies in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Support and administer enterprise storage environments
- Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and storage-related issues in production environments
- Perform ONTAP upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management
- Support VMware, Linux, and Windows server environments
- Work independently in a fully remote environment
- Support occasional off-hours maintenance windows
Skills
- Active NCSE-OS (NetApp Certified Support Engineer – ONTAP Specialist) certification
- Strong hands-on experience supporting NetApp ONTAP in enterprise environments
- Experience with Clustered ONTAP deployments and administration
- Expertise with SnapMirror, SnapVault, replication, and disaster recovery technologies
- Hands-on experience with storage protocols including NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel
- Experience performing ONTAP upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management
- Ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and storage-related issues in production environments
- Experience supporting VMware, Linux, and Windows server environments
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Willingness to support occasional off-hours maintenance windows
- Experience with enterprise storage optimization and performance tuning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience working in large-scale production environments
