They are seeking a Remote Social Media Manager to build and manage content calendars, engage with the community, and track growth metrics across various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage weekly content calendars
- Schedule content across Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Coordinate with video editors
- Upload and publish content daily
- Write captions and hooks
- Organize content library
- Respond to comments and DMs
- Engage with players, parents, coaches, travel organizations, and high school programs
- Leave strategic comments on recruiting content
- Build relationships within the baseball community
- Collect player success stories
- Gather testimonials and commitments
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips
- Work with editors to maximize content output
- Ensure consistent daily posting
- Track growth metrics
- Monitor engagement
- Track profile clicks and signups
- Provide weekly performance reports
Skills
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Sports or baseball experience is a plus
