[Remote] Senior Data DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a practical Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join their delivery team. This role focuses on creating and improving CI/CD, automation, infrastructure deployment, and operational engineering practices for the platform.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the platform's existing deployment and release practices
- Establish and execute the DevOps strategy for Microsoft Fabric
- Set up and refine repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
- Streamline deployment processes and create Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns when relevant
- Build environment promotion processes that enable smooth transitions between development, staging, and production
- Connect automated deployments with operational monitoring tools to guarantee platform reliability and visibility
- Work closely with engineering, data governance, and AI teams to support efficient and secure delivery workflows
Skills
- More than 3 years of demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer specializing in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure deployment
- Solid practical abilities with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Competence in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
- Skilled in setting up repositories, branching, and deployment automation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments
- Background in connecting operational monitoring with deployment pipelines
- Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities
- English skills at B2 level or above
