[Remote] Supply Chain Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst with a strong foundation in supply chain operations. This role will partner with the Supply Chain team to design AI-enabled tools that enhance inventory planning and decision-making through practical analytics.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to gather and prioritize planning and inventory reporting needs
- Design and build interactive, user-friendly tools that give supply chain stakeholders visibility into inventory status and planning recommendations
- Apply AI tools to support scenario modeling and decision support for inventory planning and optimization
- Think through end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory planning, multi-echelon inventory, and optimization mechanics
- Translate supply chain problems into clear analytical approaches and visual outputs
- Build and maintain data pipelines that source, transform, and deliver clean data to planning tools and reports
Skills
- Supply chain or operations background
- Ability to think critically about inventory planning problems and supply chain mechanics
- Working experience with Python for analysis and visualization
- Experience building interactive dashboards
- SQL proficiency — comfortable querying and transforming data from relational or cloud data warehouses
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude code, Codex)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
