[Remote] UI/UX designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a remote UI/UX designer to establish a unified visual identity across multiple education-focused software products. The role involves collaborating with the development team to create engaging and intuitive applications, ensuring usability and consistency throughout the product suite.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve user experience challenges across multiple products
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI standards
- Produce mock-ups, assets, and design specifications for developers
- Build a cohesive visual identity that unifies our product suite
- Design experiences that motivate and encourage learners to engage with our apps
- Partner with developers throughout the design and build process to ensure usability and consistency
Skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing recent application/product design work (required for consideration)
- Deep understanding of usability and accessibility standards
- A strong foundation in HTML, CSS and modern design tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of Python and PyQt
- Experience designing for educational products
