Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Advanced Data Science Solutions: Build models and tools using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, probability, and decision theory, and other quantitative techniques.
• Drive Business Insights: Understand the business context behind large datasets and develop meaningful analytic solutions to drive business decisions.
• Apply Advanced Statistical Techniques: Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical techniques, including predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design, analysis, and data mining.
• Program with Technical Stack: Program using tech stack Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Develop Predictive Models: Perform machine learning techniques, and supervised and unsupervised algorithms to build predictive models and prescriptive solutions to support various business use cases.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with finance, researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
• Communicate Technical Insights: Communicate verbally and in writing to business clients and management team with varying levels of technical expertise, educating them about our systems, and sharing insights and recommendations.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and Relevant Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative or computational capabilities OR High School/GED and a minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative or computational capabilities.
• Advanced Degree: M.S. in STEM, PC science, information systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar.
• Experience with Large-Scale Datasets: At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to create/optimize machine learning, predictive, forecasting, and/or optimization models.
• Advanced Technical Skills: Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other languages.
• Exploratory Data Analysis: Advanced degree talent in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and selection, detecting patterns, studying distributions, visualizing results, and extracting insights to support business decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Relevant Field: Ph.D. in STEM, PC science, information systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar.
• Experience with IoT and Edge AI: Experience working with IoT and Edge AI is a plus.
• Reinforcement Learning Experience: Experience in Reinforcement Learning is a plus.
• Healthcare Experience: Experience in Healthcare is a plus.
