Senior Motion Designer
Location: Remote. The role You'll turn graphics and illustration into motion. Explainers, brand videos, launch videos, social, UI animation. Real briefs, never spec. What you'll do - Design and animate across launch videos, commercials, product explainers, social content, and brand campaigns - Translate creative direction and storyboards into motion that nails the intended tone, pacing, and feel - Export production-ready Lottie files and UI animations for handoff - Work in tight cycles, first WIP fast, refine continuously - Iterate quickly on feedback from creative leads and clients without losing the craft - Work closely with producers, editors, designers, art directors, and illustrators What we're looking for - A reel that shows timing, easing, and restraint - Strong After Effects (expressions, rigging, clean comp management) - Production experience exporting Lottie and UI animations - The ability and appetite to work with AI video and image generation tools - Comfortable in Figma, able to bring designs from Figma into After Effects - You take feedback fast and integrate it without friction Nice to have - Rive for product and UI motion - Cavalry for procedural and generative motion - Light 3D (C4D or Blender) for hybrid pieces Not for you if - You need a locked brief and a long runway per task - You take notes personally
