Software Systems Engineer-Secret Clearance Required

We currently have an opportunity for a Software Systems Engineer to support the DLA in a Remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain accurate, high-quality data reports to support business needs. Write efficient SQL queries and actively perform SQL performance tuning to ensure optimal database speed and responsiveness. Deep-dive into the data architecture and tables to assist the application development team in debugging and resolving client-facing issues. Work closely with cross-functional teams, maintaining consistent communication and a team-first attitude. Required Qualifications & SkillsDeep, hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views (MS SQL Server or similar relational databases preferred) Demonstrated ability to analyze execution plans, index data effectively and optimize slow-performing queries. Strong data literacy with the ability to quickly learn complex data structures and tables to debug software issues. A strong work ethic, excellent time management, and a track record of being a dependable, everyday team player. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of relevant IT experience Clearance: Must possess Secret level security clearance Certifications: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I SIS, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
