Tax Planner (Remote)

We pride ourselves on delivering proactive, high-value advisory services—not just compliance work. Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Tax Planner to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, developing strategic tax plans, and identifying opportunities for tax savings throughout the year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one tax planning meetings with clients
- Review financials, tax returns, and supporting documents
- Identify and implement tax-saving strategies (e.g., Augusta Rule, entity structuring, deductions)
- Collaborate with internal bookkeeping and tax preparation teams
- Provide clear documentation and follow-up action steps for clients
- Stay up to date on U.S. tax laws and planning strategies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or advisory (required)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws for individuals and small businesses
- Ability to analyze financial statements and identify tax opportunities
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, EA, or similar credential
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, or CRM systems
- Background working with entrepreneurs, real estate investors, or service-based businesses
