Technical Writer

SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands. Job Duties: Provide Technical Writer support with the development and updates of C5ISR stage 4 and 5 test procedures, reports, briefs, proposals, instructional books, system operation manuals, maintenance manuals, Interactive Electronic Training Manuals (IETM), computer-based training (CBT) modules and related technical documents concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of shipboard C5ISR systems. Adhere to required quality control of test procedures in accordance with contract requirements and MIL STD 2106. Works with the cross functional team members to identify potential test procedure development improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the conduct of C5ISR tests.
