[Remote] Business Systems Analysis, Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their Agile team, responsible for developing enhancements to the Medicare Part B claims processing system and providing application development and maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Research to understand proposed system changes
• Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processes
• Create detailed specifications/requirements for program changes
• Create and update system documentation and user specifications
• Work with scrum team members to build and demo requirements into program changes
• Create and execute detailed Testing Plans
• Provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• As a member of a project/Agile team, provide guidance related to the business implications of the changes and the impacts to other CMS systems

Skills

• Bachelors degree and 0-2 years experience or High School diploma/equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
• Experience in the organizing projects using Agile Methodology or other methods
• Experience utilizing AI tools
• Demonstrated ability plan projects, for example, to create requirement documents and test plans
• Proficient at MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn mainframe applications such as TSO/ISPF
• Strong written and verbal communication at a level appropriate for customer and internal communication
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Experience working in a healthcare environment and claims coding experience, or in a financial environment
